Andy

Andy grew up in Whitby, Ontario, and moved to Ottawa to attend Algonquin College in 2021. During her studies, Andy completed her placement here at Algonquin Animal Hospital in 2023. She quickly fell in love with the team, patients, and the welcoming, fun environment. After completing  her placement, Andy was thrilled when the clinic offered her a full time position as a Veterinary Assistant.

Andy is passionate about providing fear-free care and helping every patient feel safe, comfortable, and supported during their time in clinic. She also helps run the clinics boarding program and takes great pride in providing attentive, personalized care to every pet who stays with us. Andy strives to make each visit, whether a general appointment or boarding stay, as stress-free, positive, and comfortable as possible. 

Outside of the clinic, Andy enjoys spending time with her friends, going out thrifting and playing tennis with her boyfriend. She also loves to spend her weekends visiting home, which includes spending time with her three nieces.
