In the News

You will have noticed that we are building a two storey addition to the Algonquin Animal Hospital Unfortunately, this has caused some disruption to our parking for clients.This is temporary, and will hopefully end before the end of the year. This addition will bring some notable improvements to our hospital, most notably to the comfort of our clients and the care of their pets.Included in this addition are two new examination rooms, as well as a comfort room where we can discuss with clients their pet's prognosis and offer if needed their humane and comfortable euthanasia. We are also creating a large continuing education room where we can have both client and staff education and a physiotherapy room for the rehabilitation of injured and overweight pets. We will look forward to showing you in the very near future our expanded and improved hospital.

Fall/Winter 2011 - As you go to close up your cottages and winterize vehicles, please keep your pets in   mind when disposing of chemicals. Toxins such as antifreeze can be lethal!

We have new staff this Fall! We are pleased to welcome our new veterinary technician Jamie and our new veterinary assistant Natalia to the practice!

To serve you better, we now have the ability to run our thyroid tests in-clinic. Ask a staff member for details about how this will streamline your dog or cat's testing!
